About job

The primary objective of the role would be to build, support and drive the system engineering quality team.

Job Requirements

  • Bsc. in Telecommunications or higher.
  • Degree in Management or training in team leading is a plus
  • 10 to 12 years of years of experience.
  • Working knowledge of Industrial Project Technical management (Oil & Gas, Power Networks etc.) would be advantageous.
  • Must have excellent communication and team management skills.
  • In depth knowledge of performance metrics
  • Proficient in MS office especially in Excel

Job Responsibilities

  • Act as a business partner to the Engineering Manager and business functions, ensure engineering performance is optimized and full project profits are realized
  • Effectively manage the engineering deliverable (including design phase), on time, with accuracy to support timely project delivery
  • Overlook the implementation of projects including directing the Engineering Design, Integration, FAT, IFAT, SAT Installation and Commissioning functions using local and remote offices
  • Effectively build and maintain sustainable working relationships with both the internal and external clients
  • Interface and work in conjunction with the Engineering Manager and the Project team to ensure timely and profitable delivery of projects
  • To provide creative solutions to problems and have the discipline to drive results and follow established processes.
  • Provide mentoring to the Systems Engineering team and help drive their development
  • Ensure the Engineering staff maintain up to date technical knowledge on a variety of product ranges
  • Provide leadership and support to the team leaders and staff through performance development and training
  • Manage and maintain the quality systems within the department
