About job

The primary objective of this role is to lead, manage, mentor and develop the proposals team members. Solutions Team Leader will prepare, analyze, develop, support, manage and drive proposals activities. Will also Manage and plan the resources of the proposals team & listen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts

Job Requirements

  • Bsc in Engineering or higher
  • Degree in Management or training in team leading is a plus
  • 10 to 12 years of years of experience with a Telecom and Security Contractor/ ELV Contractor/Telecom System Integrator
  • In depth knowledge of performance metrics
  • Familiarity with tendering procedures
  • Proficient in MS office especially in Excel

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic plan to prepare the technical and engineering solution for the tender.
  • Study and analyze the requirements of the RFP received through the sales & marketing channels.
  • Supervise and oversee the development of the engineering solution in line with the client’s specifications.
  • Supervise and oversee the development of the proposed vendors/manufacturers list to be used for the assigned proposal.
  • Delegate tasks and set deadlines by setting clear team goals
  • Ensure the relevance, adequacy, compliance, completeness and correctness and validity of the proposed technical solution.
  • Ensure the commercial and technical competitiveness of the proposed technical solutions.
  • Supervise and Develop a coherent and consistent design drawings and documents to describe and outline the proposed solution to the client
  • Conduct a final check prior to submission
  • Propose alternatives and innovative technical approaches and solutions to client’s requirements.
  • Coordinate with the project manager to develop project schedule including expected required resources.

  • Prepare and participate in the technical bid review meeting with the Sales/Engineering/Project Team.
  • Coordinate with company’s Contracts / Legal Departments.
  • Coordinate and obtain inputs from any alliance, JV or consortium partners.
  • Coordinate amendments / tender bulletins to the RFP from the client and ensure all members of the bid team are aware of the amendment.
  • Manage completion and delivery of the document to meet the deadline.
  • To establish a reporting structure on a weekly and monthly basis to keep management updated on activities and progress.
