Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in law or a relevant discipline.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist into developing and revising Group rules and procedures for peak operating efficiency;
  • Ensure adequate implementation of all compliance programs/activities.
  • Advise all managers and staff of Elsewedy Electric in regular intervals on compliance related laws and regulations as well as internal policies and rules.
  • Handle the day to day operation of the compliance programs;
  • Ensures appropriate implementation of the compliance Annual plan;
  • liaise with the training Department; as appropriate, to provide compliance training program;
  • Provide Clerical support to the Head of Compliance as needed;
  • Monitors and interprets regulatory and policy changes and evaluates the potential impact those requirements may have. Makes recommendations for appropriate actions necessary to maintain compliance;
  • Ensures compliance with policies, procedures and applicable laws and regulations. Communicates such information to affected management personnel and ensures that corrective action is taken for identified compliance issues;
  • Conduct Risk assessments/Gap Analysis/ spot checks to ensure proper execution of the compliance programs/activities;
  • Identify and assess compliance risks, introduce mitigation measures, coordinate such measures with relevant stake holders;
  • Handle Compliance related investigations re. any violations and allegations, regularly report on progress of such investigations to Group Head of Compliance; and conclude every investigation with a final report;
  • Communicates confidentially with employees and addresses any concerns they have about ethical or other compliance matters within a department or division;
